FAUCI’S BIG GOODBYE

Top infectious diseases expert Anthony Fauci on Tuesday urged Americans to stay up-to-date with their COVID-19 shots during his final briefing before leaving the Biden administration, following 54 years in federal government.

  • The director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases has been a frequent target of criticism for Republicans, who blamed him for the government’s often contradictory and heavy-handed pandemic measures and messaging.

BIDEN EXTENDS STUDENT LOAN REPAYMENT…AGAIN

In response to a federal appeals court ruling last week blocking President Joe Biden’s student loan forgiveness plan, the administration announced Tuesday it would be extending a payment pause on federal student loans.

  • The pause will expire in June or when the litigation tying up Biden’s student loan forgiveness plan is resolved.
