CHYRON OF THE DAY: Space Nudes

Fox News’ “Jesse Watters Primetime” discussed the dangers Monday of NASA’s plan to spam the galaxy with nude images of humans.

THE CHYRON

Michio Kaku, a theoretical physicist, told guest host Brian Kilmeade that sending nudes to potential extraterrestrials was a “horrible idea.”

“NASA plans to send nudes to space,” read a chyron that aired during the segment.

  • In addition to information about human DNA, physics and geolocation, NASA scientists reportedly want to send out cartoons of a nude man and woman.
  • “The fundamental mistake is they assume that the aliens are like E.T.; warm and friendly, but they could be like the Borg out to rampage over our corner of the galaxy. We can’t assume the best case scenario in this situation,” Kaku said.
