BRETT FAVRE DENIES WRONGDOING: In an interview with Fox News Digital Tuesday, retired NFL legend Brett Favre denied any wrongdoing in the Mississippi welfare scandal. The office of the state auditor alleges $5 million of money intended for welfare recipients was diverted to build a volleyball facility at the University of Southern Mississippi, where Favre’s daughter plays volleyball, and $1.1 million was paid to the onetime Green Bay Packers quarterback himself for speaking appearances he never made.
