Republicans are questioning former FBI Director James Comey behind closed doors Monday on a host of Russia probe-related issues -- including a newly released FBI briefing document related to the origins of the salacious anti-Trump dossier.
Comey is back on the Hill for his second closed-door interview this month with House lawmakers on the House Judiciary and Oversight committees, after an initial appearance in which Republicans complained he didn't adequately answer their questions.
North Carolina Rep. Mark Meadows told reporters Monday that Republicans plan to focus on a new FBI document that was released Friday in response to a Freedom of Information Act and published by Politico.
He told reporters he wants Comey to clarify when he first became aware of the involvement of the Democratic National Committee, law firm Perkins Coie and the opposition research group Fusion GPS in the production of the dossier.
