This Might Be the Sweetest ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ Story You’ll Ever Read

A 9-year-old autistic boy named Brandon was inspired to overcome his fears after seeing “Let’s go Brandon” signs in Texas, his mother said in a recent interview.

THE STORY

In an interview with the Minnesota Star Tribune published earlier this month, Sheletta Brundidge explained that Brandon, her son, sometimes gets anxious about new experiences because of his autism.     View this post on Instagram

But during a family trip to Texas this spring, Brundidge said, Brandon”found his courage” after visiting an RV park filled “Let’s Go Brandon” signs, which he interpreted as encouraging him rather than slamming President Biden.

  • Brundidge later wrote a children’s book about the experience, titled “Brandon Spots His Sign,” that was published in April, National Autism Awareness Month.
  • President Biden sent a letter to Brandon last month, saying he “loved” the book and advising “remember, you are stronger because you persevere. Never forget that you are defined by your character and courage.”
