Tucker Carlson’s ‘End of Men’ Documentary Is Too Much for A Lot of People

Footage from Tucker Carlson’s upcoming documentary, “The End of Men,”got the internet all hot and bothered over the weekend.

SO WHAT

Liberals can’t decide if Carlson is crazy, or crazy like a Fox.

WHAT HAPPENED

The teaser clips — released Friday as part of a rollout of “Tucker Carlson Originals,” season two — shows men performing various acts of manliness, like barbecuing, wrestling, shooting a gun, milking a cow and chopping wood.

What drew the most attention online, though, was of a shot of a man undergoing “testicle tanning” — a “bromeopathic” treatment Carlson defended on air Saturday as a reasonable response to falling male testosterone levels and sperm counts.

Later in the promotional segment, Carlson tried to convince Kid Rock to take “red light” therapy for the scrotum seriously, but the MAGA rocker remained skeptical.

  • “Some days I just want to stop this planet and let me off,” Kid Rock said.

WHAT PEOPLE SAID

Many liberal commentators mocked Carlson for airing what they saw as junk science and embarrassing homoerotic imagery.

  • But others took “The End of Men” deadly seriously: Washington Post national correspondent Phillip Bump warned in an analysis Monday that the trailer is a “compelling bit of marketing” for Carlson’s alleged dangerous disinformation.
  • “The testicle-tanning is the lure; the trap closes when you agree to follow the line from that to Carlson’s broader argument about a decline in masculinity and the rise of the left,” Bump wrote.

On the right, meanwhile, some Carlson fans argued he has a point about the emasculation of America, while others looked forward to his other new documentaries about a “detransitioner” and the murder spike in Los Angeles.

  • The second season of “Tucker Carlson Originals” starts Monday.
